The Importance of Art for Kids!
How many of our kids do something creative each week? When was the last time they’ve picked up a paintbrush?
For most of us, that answer is probably ‘I’m not sure.’
Other than dabbling in art class once a week at school, art has taken a backseat in this generation of children. But, I have found through teaching kids the last six years, that they desperately need and most importantly want it!
They may not even know it yet! But the joy that I see when kids start painting is unexplainable.
Sometimes, it’s just the huge smile on their face as they are mixing colors on a pallet. By the way, have you ever noticed how much fun it is to mix colors?! So much fun!
Kids love to do it and guess what grown-ups do too! If we could embrace our inner child a little bit more we’d be mixing all kinds of colors! Just look at some of the smiling faces from some of my kid’s paint nights!
These are just some of the benefits that being creative does for children!
- Improved Academic Performance
- Motor Skills
- Builds Confidence
- Visual Learning Skills
- Decision Making
So, why am I talking about this right now?
I am so excited to announce my newest holiday painting tutorials for kids! There are three different paintings for three different holidays!
I have one for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas!
That includes all three paintings, all three templates, and lifetime access to these! That means you can go back and watch these videos whenever you want to whenever it fits into your schedule! You can stop, pause and rewind. The videos will always be there for you.
You can even host a party with this video! All you’ll have to do is grab the supplies and I do all the teaching! Are you a grandma? Think of how much fun you could have with the grandkids each holiday when they come over to your house! I did a Kids Summer Art Camp and I saw so many precious memories come from that! It absolutely warms my heart!
Give them the gift of creativity! You won’t be sorry! I look forward to each post I get from my members sharing what they are doing with their kids and grandkids! So grab some paint and brushes and get messy!
Have fun and allow yourself to be a kid again!
