The Social Easel Shop FAQs

Immediately after purchasing tutorials, an email will be sent to you with a link to access the pdf for that tutorial. If you can’t find that email, you can also access your tutorials and related information from your account on the website.
Here’s how to log into your shop account:

If you have a membership with us (either the Inner Tribe or Painting of the Month) please be aware that The Social Easel Store is a completely separate site and is a different account from your membership account.
Be sure you are using the correct email and password. The first time you order from the store, you will be required to set up a new account.
Again, this is separate from the membership site!
Purchases from the store will not appear in your member library. Your member portal (also called Kajabi) is only for membership items.
You can access tutorials you’ve purchased from the store 2 ways. You should have received an email immediately after completing your purchase with links to the tutorials you purchased. You can also access your tutorials and related information from your account on the website.

The Social Easel Painting of the Month Club and Christie's Inner Tribe
The Painting of the Month and the Inner Tribe are 2 different memberships.
The Painting of the Month membership is a subscription that is $20 /month and it includes:
- A new tutorial released on the 1st of each month right into your membership portal
- Each month you’ll receive
- New video tutorial picked by Christie
- Easy to follow step by step video instructions to watch at your own pace
- Supply and color list
- Private membership site to watch the video at your own pace
- Right to teach the paintings at local paint parties (no online teaching allowed)
- Traceable templates (if applicable)
The Inner Tribe membership is also a subscription but it’s $47/month and it includes the following:
- Exclusive painting lessons each month
- 1 guest speaker each month
- access to the Private Inner Tribe Facebook group
- “The Vault” which is a private video library with over 150 painting tutorials
- rights to teach any painting tutorial at local paint nights only (no online teaching or kits permitted)
- meetups with local Inner Tribe members
- bonus’ and freebies throughout the year
- contests
- discounts on The Social Easel painting workshops done outside of the Inner Tribe

Please allow 48 hrs, prior to your payment being drafted, to process a cancellation. If sent on the weekend, cancellations will be taken care of the following Monday. Business hours are 9-4pm Monday -Friday.
If you cancel after your payment is drafted, your cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing cycle.
When canceling Inner Tribe membership, you will lose access to the Facebook group and all material related to the Inner Tribe at the end of your current billing cycle.
There are no refunds on membership payments.
Billing cycles run from the date of your last draft. (For example, if your payment came out on December 19, that pays for the membership through January 19.)

Yes, you can sell any paintings you’ve created from one of Christie’s tutorials.
The Social Easel does not allow you to sell kits with Christie’s work/paintings in it. You would have to include your own original painting and video tutorial in your kit. You can’t recreate a video of one of her originals and you also can’t use her tutorials to teach online.
For paint parties, as a Tribe Member, you have the right to use Christie’s painting designs at local paint nights! She recommends using your painting that you did from her tutorial as your promo photo so they can see exactly how you paint it. You can advertise using any paintings that you’ve created yourself from her tutorials. You are also welcome to sell anything that you’ve painted yourself.
Yes, any paintings that you purchased while you are a member of the Painting of the Month club will remain in your member library. You’ll just need to log in to access them!

Tutorials are automatically released into member libraries on the 1st of each month for all those members with an active account. By active account we mean, you payment successfully drafted the previous month. So, for example, payments drafted in May give you access to the June POTM tutorial.
This is a manual process so if you don’t see the new tutorial in your library after the 1st, please email us in Customer Service at christie@thesocialeasel.com & we’ll be happy to assist you!
You are able to view/update your credit card information for your account by logging into your member portal. Here’s how!
- Login – https://the-social-easel-online-paint-studio.mykajabi.com/login
- After logging in, click into your Avatar in the top right corner of the page.
- Then, select Settings from the dropdown.
- Click Credit Card Info in the top right corner of the page.
- Then, click the Change Card button

VIP Painting Membership
The vault is a huge library of painting tutorials that is available to you as a member of Christie’s Inner Tribe. There are over 150 tutorials – you can browse the vault anytime to look for something to paint!
You can log in by going to www.tribesister.com and entering your log-in information.
You can view a recent Live tutorial by clicking on the Announcements Tab in the Facebook group OR clicking on the Guides Tab and selecting the current month.
- Go to FB Guides and browse past 3 months worth of Tutorials and References (Current and previous 2 months of tutorials are in the Facebook Group organized under Units by Month.)
- For tutorials in the vault, you’ll see a small arrow to download reference materials above the text on your screen.
*NOTE Not all tutorials will have a template. For some, Christie shows you how to sketch simple shapes for the composition.

Christie’s Inner Tribe FB Group is set to “post approval”. That means someone on the team approves the post before it is visible in the group. This process doesn’t typically take very long.
The most common reason posts are not approved is if they are customer service type questions or if it is a painting that is not one of Christie’s tutorials.

The art you create from one of Christie’s tutorials is always okay to share! We also love to hear about your progress with your painting, and we encourage you to ask your Tribe Sisters questions about painting.

Kids paintings are not included in Christie’s Inner Tribe, however Tribe Sisters are able to use the discount code for a 50% off discount.
Paintings in your library accrue when you become a member. (your library is in the membership site BEFORE you go into the vault)
Depending on when you joined, you’ll have access to different tutorials from The Painting of the Month Club, or special challenges, etc.
