My new Blog
Hey guys!!
For those of you that don’t know me. My name is Christie Hawkins owner and artist behind The Social Easel! I am super excited to be adding a blog to my Social Easel Page! I will be updating this every week or so with new ideas, crafts, paintings and even some sneak peek tutorials! It will be a place for everything creative and inspiring! And some maybe even some fun clothes and earrings I happen to love!
This is where I can share a little bit more of me with you!
I have been an artist my entire life! I come from a line of artists…my grandpa as well as my mother! That beautiful easel I use in class – That is my mom’s! She used that same easel when she was an art major in college! I updated it with one of my favorite colors and love that is what I use to teach you guys each week!
I have dabbled in so many creative business before starting The Social Easel and finding my place! I did cakes, wreaths, and more! Right now, I am living my dream and I hope to use this gift God gave me to inspire others in art and in life! For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. – 2 Timothy 1:7
I love the “social” part of this business!! Getting to know you guys by name when you come in and paint with me and become members of my Tribe membership! That is what makes it all so fun for me.
Seeing your faces on Facebook when you comment! It’s the fun stuff! Thank you all for making it that way! I feel like we are a little art family! 🙂
My goal through these blogs is to share love, inspiration and fun with you all! I want to use the gifts He gave me and share them with others! This year marks The Social Easel’s 5th year in business! I am beyond grateful and excited to say that! It has also made me think about where I see this business going and how I can reach and teach more people!
1 year ago I started my painting membership and now we are close to 200 members! I love that I have the ability to teach no matter where you live! You can take individual courses with me through my single tutorials, join me in my challenges and boot camps or become a part of my membership which I open a few times a year!
If you haven’t already, please join my Facebook page to keep up with FB Live videos and more! You can always contact me there through messaging!
Thank you guys for a great start to 2019! I am looking so forward to see what this year brings for The Social Easel!
